Palentology- study of life -fossils

Paleoanthropology - stufy of present humans -fossils 

Hominization - process of becoming like a human

Louis & Mary Leakey  -searched for hominid remains in Tanzania

Hominid- group consistings of all modern apes

-Found humanlike fossils 

Donald Johanson - discovered a 3.2 million year old fossil named "Lucy" oldest known hominid until 2015
