Rutherford B. Hayes made a deal with the south states, so that he ends reconstruction and they give him the electoral votes. Known as the Compromise of 1877
*War of 1812-between Great Britain and US, were remained issues after Revolutionary war. Fishing rights by Canada, telling native Americans to attack the US, Impressment-taking our britain sailors. White house was burned down.
