Wednesday: We finished Chapter 10 today. We have a 2 hour early out. We also picked new forum post leaders. We watched a video on the history of Thanksgiving.

- By 1900, Spain was a dwindling empire
- Philippines, Guam, Cuba, Puerto Rico and a few colonies in Africa(Morocco and Western Sahara)

- Cubans had been revolting against Spanish control wanting Independence
