Dwight D. Eisenhower: Played a huge roll on D-Day commanding the allied forces in the Normandy Invasion. Elected 34th President 1952 winning. Signed Civil rights legislation to protect voting rights for African Americans. Held nuclear weapons on guard towards soviet union, US policy on protecting Taiwan from the Chinese. Sent 15,000 troops to keep the pro- Western government from falling.

Watergate- Web of political scandals from 1972- 1974, Five men arrested for trying to bug offices of Democratic National Committee. Smoking Gun Tapes- Proof the Nixon helped with cover up. Judiciary committee passes three of four Articles of Impeachment. Gerald Ford, Nixon's successor in office, pardons Nixon
