Shanksville, Pennsylvania-The 4th plane, flight 93 was expected to head toward the capital building in Washington, D.C. Passengers prevented that from happending. 10:03 the planed crashed in a field in killing all 44 on board.
It took months to complete the rescue and recovery efforts. Some survivors were found and rescued from under the rubble buy not many. The fires beneath the rubble burned for weeks and the cleanup was not complete until May 2002. Lives Lost- 2,996 people died that day. Largest attack on U.S soil since Pearl Harbor.
Why did bin Laden turn his attention to attacking the U.S?-Western support for attacking Muslims in Somalia. Supporting Russian atrocities against Muslims in Chechnya. Supporting the Indian Protest. U.S support of Israel. Economic Sanctions against Iraq.
Why they attacked-Because of the way the U.S and its allies treat the Muslim World.
