Solar Energy - More sustainable source, save thousands of out of pocket cost, maintenance is less than $200 a year, would take about .6% of Americas land to power whole country, don't have to worry about dangerous and expensive power lines.

Wind Energy - Wind Turbines take KE of Wind and turn it into mechanical power, total 82,183 MW, U.S. leads world in wind energy production, 31% of Iowa's energy was generated from wind.

geothermal Energy - produced from heat of earth, renewable, U.S. produces most G - heat in world, 30 - 70% in heating mode, 20-50% in cooling mode, Cost is declining, 

Hydroelectric Energy - flowing water KE, Renewable, constant, predictable, controllable, generates 10% of Americas energy, 2nd largest energy source in the U.S., environmentally friendly, 

Ocean Energy - used on much larger scale,tidal energy, wave energy, ocean thermal energy, another form of hydroelectric energy, 

How it help economy - solar energy makes more jobs than coal/oil, solar and wind makes m 12x more jobs, renewable energy is constantly growing,
