Monday - Reviewed movie summarys 

Tuesday - No School 

Wednesday - PPSH-41 - Shot fast on front lines

V2 Rocket - Went long distances to do damage

Dora and Gustav Rail Cannons - Used against aircraft. Fires off artillery 

MP40 - Popular on frontlines for shooting 

M1 Garand - Loads from the top, extended loads from the bottom. Had long range 

The Poisoned Dart Bomb - Carried thousands of a needles that were dipped in poison. They would then drop these pins like bombs 

Sucide Bomb Dogs - Put bombs on a dog and they would go under the enemies tank and blow up 

Kayyusha Rocket Launcher - Used by Russians. Launched far 

Bike - Used by Germans to pull around cannons 

WWll Mines - Blew up to destroy ships 

X-Class Midget Submarine - Could go into tight spaces with missiles on the side 

M1A1 Carbine - Invented in 1942 by U.S troops. Most produced rifle 

Flamethrower - Burned in 7 seconds and could go a lot of feet. 

Thompson Submachine Gun - Made by the Americans in 1922. Became popular in 1942 then became replaced 

Lee Enfiled - British gun. Short barrel, light, easy to transport 

Type 100 - Japanese submachine gun. Used by higher positioned people 

MG 34 - Modernly made and complex. Shoots about 50 rounds. Shoots 900 bullets a minute 

German G/43 Sniper Rifle - Used by Germans. Made in 1941 

Bren Infantry LMG - Made by British. Light machine gun. 

Hand Grenade - Safety pin flew off. 4-5 second fuse. Don't throw too soon or too late

Knives - Used for stabbing in 1918 

M9A1 Rocket Launcher/ Bazooka - Could blow tanks up 

Atomic Bomb - By the U.S. Used to wipe out land and could kill thousands of people from radiation 

Aircraft Carrier - Carry planes closer to battlefield 

Thursday - FDR's War Message - Pearl Harbor was not the only area Japan attacked on Dec. 7th... they attacked Malaya, Hong Kong, Guam, Philippine Islands, Wake Island, Midway Island

 Douglas MacArthur - most famous general, he made serious tactical errors at the outset of the Philippine campaign which resulted in the destruction of the Philippine Air Force and the US Asiatic Fleet 

Bataan Death March - Japs made Americans and Filipinos march for hundrends of miles. They were beaten and given diseases. 

Doolittle's Raid (April, 1942) - Roosevelt wanted to strike Tokeyo but the military did not. Air raid by the United States wanting to bomb Tokeyo and land in China. 

Battle of Coral Sea - The battle ended in a stalemate, Considered to a more US victory as it was the first time Japan's advance had been stopped, US on left and Japan on Right
