Monday-

-Major events that impacted their country between WWI and WWII.


Beer Hall Putsch- Hitler a d the Nazi party led a coalition in an attempt to create a new government based on race, it failed and Hitler sent to jail for 1 year

Reichstag fire- German parliament building was burned by arson, Government falsely portrayed the fire as part of a communist effort to overthrow the state

Nuremberg Laws- Nazi's announced new laws which institutionalized many of the racial theories prevalent in Nazi ideology

Munich Conference- Signed by Hitler, Mussolini, French Premier Edouard Daladler, and British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain. 

Sudetenland Appsmnt- France and Britain agree to give Hitler the Sudentenland- German troops march into the land and are welcomed as heroes

Reichspogromnacht- A massive coordinate attack on Jews throughout the German Reich

-Discuss basic facts: alliance, total casualties, total cost, war goals, etc

-Tell us about their leader(s) during WWII

-Discuss the impact of their Homefront and propaganda and what it was like in their country during the war

-Discuss major battle strategies

-Discuss other people/generals from their country in WWII that had a major impact on the war

-Discuss the impact WWII had on the country

 

Tuesday- Watched and talked about more groups

Wednesday- Free Day due to basketball

Thursday- Went over German power point 

Friday- Talked about Germany more
