The forum post leaders discused there topics. Then some people did there presantation on cocain. Cocain is called the rich persons drug because it is exspensive. Sence this drug is so exspensive people go to methanfedimean. This drug was most popular in the 1900. People use it by, Snorting it, Injecting it, and eating it. It causes your heart to race and you could have holutioations and your skin starts to itch. Most people do it to there face thats why you see some people with scabs and scraches on there face is because they pick at it and they itch really bad on there face.
Then me and Caitlin did a presantation on Millitary bases all over the world. We dident get to finish so we will continue tomorrow.

Me and Caitlin finished our presantation over millitary bases.
Then we picked what we wanted to talk about next and we picked Illigal imagrants.
Wednesday 16
Mr.Brunz discussed Illegal immigrants. Then we watched a video on it it was a documentary on this man who was sent to america by his mother when he was 12 years old. His grandparents paid for him to be brought over to america. He lived in the Philippines and had a very small home that had only one room which was the bedroom with him and his mother shared. When he went to america he went to school learned how to speak english very well but when he turned 16 he went to the DMV. Without telling his Grandparents and the lady looked at his green card and his ID and said "This is fake, don't come back her again." So he went home and took his ID and green card out and didn't say anything to his Grandfather.When his grandfather noticed he said "What are you doing showing people that?!" So Jose was confused at what he meant. His grandfather said "You're not supposed to be here." Jose thought he was there legally but he was never there legally. So at that point his accent was very heavy and it was hard to understand him. SO he got this movie that was about a girl that was an orphan and had to live with these 2 old people, Jose said he felt like her. He practiced how she pronounced her words and copied them so now he sounds like he was born here he has no accent in his voice now. He felt like he couldn't trust anyone anymore so he was in everything at his school it was like his second home. He eventually told one of his teachers and she said okay and accepted it. She didn't know all the things about being an Illegal Alien. He is a journalist now and makes very good money he is living the american dream he said. He would watch videos on all of these teenagers posting videos of themselves saying that they were illegal, they were coming out and telling the world this saying "Were illegal and not afraid and not sorry." Jose felt like a coward for being scared and doing nothing hiding in the shadows. So he decided to write an article about it and came out he went on talk shows and TV shows News. He doesn't like the sayings, Illegal Alien, Illegal immigrant he says it's better to say, not attended, or not registered. It was 2 weeks after he did that and he still wasn't deported but they did take his license away so he went to this Philippine thing that gave him a Philippine passport. He traveled the country and talked to people about him and other illegal immigrants. When he was younger his teach put on this video of this man that was an illegal immigrant Latino and he was gay which back then it was very wrong for people to be like him. So Jose jumped out of his seat and said to his teacher "I'm gay." An ran out of the classroom then the bell rang and his ex girlfriend found out about and it just spread like wildfire. His grandparents did not know though. So he went home and sat his Grandparents down and told them "I'm gay" they weren't happy with him. So he left and lived somewhere else for a while. He stayed with other people like this man that his Grandmother knew and lived with him for a while and they went on vacation together and everything. He would write his mother all the time telling her all about his successes in school and other things in his life. But when he told her he won the spelling Bee, she didn't know what it was so then It clicked in his head that they lived in 2 separate worlds. Before he came to america he thought it was going to be like the show "The prince of Bel Air" Where they can just throw money around and not worry because when he lived with his mother his Grandparents would send them food soap and other things that they could have needed. His mother did not work so he would ask his Grandmother why she didn't work? So she told him that there was no opportunities for her. She has tried to get a job but she can't because there is nothing. Jose lost respect for his mother. He always thought that his grandparents were very welthy but they had to work long and hard to be were they are at right now.
We didn't get to finish the video so we will continue it tomorrow.

We did the USA map with our groups.
Then we finished the video that we watched on wensday. He skyped his mother because he hasent seen her in almost 20 years. He was crying a lot. He was telling his mother that it is almost like they dont even know each other. His mother said that he dident want to see her but he keep on saying no thats not it, thats not it. He said that he was afraid what was to come and the different worlds they live in. They were 2 completly different people. They dident get to talk long but she was happy to see him there and he was happy to see her. He went to this meeting were they were discusing the illigal undocumented imagrants and he got to speak there and ask questions. He was thanked for coming there. He said that he will one day go and visit his mother. He had his cmaera crue go and interveiw her and she said that even if you want some space or need time to your self from your mother you will always end up wanting her she has felt that for her mother and she knows thats what her son felt with her. She said that she just wants to say that she loves him and she will never stop and that she misses him and that she is sorry. Then the movie was over.
Grashaly tried again at beting her own recored but she dident make it.
