1st Group- Traveling the West- it is a period where pioneers decided to travel to the west, looking for resources to expand America.The Oregon trail and the Gold rush. Narcissa Whitman first female to make the trail on foot.

Revolutionary War- Also known as the U.S War of Independence 1775-1783.

Civil War- America's bloodiest war, first battle at fort Sumter.

Thursday-

2nd Group

Civil War- Fort Sumter, South Caroline was a 34 hour battle. Gettysburg was the bloodiest battle. Robert E. Lee was the most talented general of the war. Commanded confederate Army.

Revolutionary war- Paul's Ride midnight of 18,1775, warning the militia of the British approaching.

Louisiana Purchase- was sold for 15 million(827,000 square miles) Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, North and south Dakota, Montana.

Industrial Revolution- Began in Britain in late 1700s. The population went from agricultural to industries. Eli Whitney- Created the Cotton Gin. First steam boat was built by Robert Fulton. Positive impacts are that women had more opportunities to work and industries got more money. Negatives are that pollution and little kids worked in the factors for long hours.

Friday-

3rd Group- Age of Colonization- countries came and colonized in America. Established new world. First British colony was Roanoke. Jamestown was the first settlement to be permanent in 1607. 

Revolutionary War- It was British was taxed by American and they did not like that. Thomas Jefferson Declaration of Independence. Paul's Ride. George Washington General of Army. Boston Tea Party 1773 and Bunker Hill major battles in Revolutionary war. Battle of York Town was last battle of Revolutionary war British gave up.

Louisiana Purchase- cheap land for all of the land that was sold. Napoleon offered to sell Louisianan. More land with Native Americans so they had conflict with them. Doubled in size.

Civil War- Abe Lincoln was elected. Did not want slavery in new territories. 620,000 deaths. Fort Sumter was where it started. Underground Railroad was very risky to do and was not actual railroads. Many people died during the Underground Railroad. Deadest war we fought in.
