Italy Question: Discuss the role of Italy in WWII
Joined axis powers, goal was to take over southeastern Europe, Mediterranean, and North Africa. Never got as strong as they wanted to be, had Germany bail them out a lot, and were eventually defeated in North Africa and switched to the Allies. Their country was not liberated until after the war because it was under German occupation.
