CCC- civilian conservation corp. passed in 1933. aimed for teenage 18-25 men who were poor. ccc members worked 40 hours a week and paid 30 dollars a month which 25 of those dollars went to the family. members lived in camps lived under military discipline. They made building construction jobs. planted tree's fought forest fires.
NYA- national youth administration. pushed heavily by Roosevelt. serves 327,000 high and college youth who were paid 6$ to $40 a month for work study project at their study. allowed thousands of people to be able to stay in school. women and men.

FERA federal emergency relief act- in 1933. fera gave more than 20 million dollars in direct id to unemployed. this would help unemployed find jobs. fera had 3 primary objective 1. direct relief measures 2. provide work for employable people 3. provide many different types of relief programs. provided jobs too
PWA public works administration created 10000 of jobs for constructions like roads hospitals airports airport runways roads damns.
CWA- constructions projects problem was paying workers for high wages but got to costly and got cancelled.
PWA- create jobs for people through construction project was largest dew deal program

farmers

AAA- agricultural adjustment act- in 1933. part of 100 days program paid farmers to plant less. supply and demand issue. get rid of crops so that prices would go up. they destroyed crops. tons of pigs were killed. game money to buy equipment
REA RURAL electrification administration- got electricity to farms
FSA farm security administration- game money to small farmers to purchase farms. people that lost farms. Bought tractors.

Homeowners

HOLC home owners loan corporation- people loosing homes and going to hoover villas prevent banks taking it over. they extended the payment to longer and to less money.
FHA federal housing administration- made to get loans to build homes. goals make housing better.
USHA united states housing authority- designed to give lones to state government to build low income houses.
SSA social security administration-

EBRA emergency banking relief act- passed in response to thousands of banks closed down. would close down the bank reorganize it and then re open it when it was stable.
FDIC federal deposit insurance corporation- insured people money in banks up to 1000 (today up to 100,000.) started to believe in banks again
