-they have 940,000,000 followers
-they fallow the Qur’an Sunnah
-any tribal member may lead a prayer
-biggest branch of islam
-also referred to as Orthadox islam

-their laws are the beliefs of their religion
-there is only one god Muhammad
-the qur’an has the punishments for the five main offences
