Went through parts fo the Asian map again today... It really is very easy. I'm learning this a lot faster than the US map. I just have one question... what about their capitals?Anyway. we finally got to our blogs on iraq. week 9. Mine,.... lolz, probably my most favorite blog evar. It was about the Un's and other countries role in the war with iraq.lindsey, the expert on Suddam huissan, gave us an expert veiw on his life. he was raised by his uncle because his father died. He went to law school. He got power several different times and he also had that power back-fired. He also got rid of the church and country being "one and the same" he gave women more rights. He did do some nice things in that respect. Women deserve rights. Women should rule the world.... But as Bruns poitned out, that doesn't make him a great person. In the 1980's he did stuff like going to war with iran, killing those who stood against him and if you were a kurd. He really ticked people off when he invaded Kuwait.Apparently, he was found in a barn and he looked like a 'bum". He killed his own people and was killed by his own people on an iraqi holiday in 2006.Why iraq invaded kuwait. Iraq invaded kuwait because they thought that kuwait was stealing their oil. And after that they had apparently wanted to invade saudi arabia. They also wanted money for their debats and the border disputes. We went to war with them because we didn't want them to steal our oil but mostly because we wanted to free kuwait.
