Today in class we went over blog topics. It was Whitney's turn, but she wasn't here so Mr. Bruns gave us the information. I learned that Latin American governments were not very stable. They were overthrown on a daily basis. The government would horde everything and the people were very poor. Dias was a Mexican leader he like American and people didn't like him. They thought that American controlled the mines, bank, railroads, and things like that. They didn't like us very well because we have taken a lot of land from they and they looked at us as bullies. Medero promised reforms and we killed by Huerta only weeks after he became a little. So then, Huerta came to power. Willdroe Wilson said that he would not recognize a government like that. Carranza they took power over Huerta and became friendly with the U.S. They let the U.S. take power of mines, banks, and railroads. He was pro-U.S. Panchavia started attacking and killed dozens of Americans in Mexico and went to New Mexico and killed a dozen more. That lead to United State military invading Mexico. War comes up between us and Mexico is not happy. We eventually pull our troops out. And Obregen took over Mexico.I think that it was really unfortunate that the Latin American government were very stable and got over thrown so much at that time. I don't think it was a very good idea for the Mexicans to come over and kill innocent people from New Mexico.
