Berlin Airlift
- Biggest humanitarian airlift ever taken by the air force
- Over 2.3 million tons of supplies flown into Berlin in over approximately 10 months
- Mainly a solution to the supplies problem during the cold war
- They sent over fuel food and other essential goods

- The ussr became a bigger threat than Germany
- Western Europe wanted to do something about it
