-What was/were this countries military strategies in the 1920's and 1930's.
-How was this country involved on WWII(what alliance did they belong to, how were they involved within the war)

IV. Hitler's Treatment of the Jews

  • * Nuremburg Laws. made jews second class citizens and removed their basic civil rights. if a person had three or four jewish grandparents was considered a jew. jews could only marry jews.
  • * picked on jews, gypisies, homo, handicapped, twins, mixed race, dark skin, slavic, communists/socialists.
  • * aryan race; blond hair blue-eyes, tall muscular. supirior race.

1938 nazi invaded and took jews to concentration camps.

V. Munich Conference-Policy of Appeasement

  • gb, germany, italy, france. hitler wanted to reunite germans. sudentin land was given to germany.

  • outlawed war, 1927. things change during depression

  • *given by fdr before ww2 saying keep the axis powers quarintined.

VII. Soviet-German Non-Aggression Pact
  • russia gave raw materials to germany in exchange for money and weapons. both agreed to stay neutral if the other entered the war. secretly agreed to invade and split poland. germany would get the western half and su would get eastern. russia would get finland, estonia and latvia and germany would get lithuania.

VIII. Outbreak of War--Blitzkrieg!! (lightening war)
  • achieve victory as quickly as possible.
  • airforce attacks.
  • shutting down communications and transportation.
  • surrounding enemy.
  • main force linked up with other units encircling and cutting off the enemy.
-Japan and China; manchuria
-Germany and Poland,

maginot line, germany went thru belgium ro attack france. forced france to surrender

the blitz, destroy british airforce and navy. never happened. never succeeded in achieving air supriority. great britain was aided by Ultra. disiffing german code. computer type machine.
