--Herman Goering became the official leader of Germany after Hitler committed suicide. He actually hung himself after World War Two and after the Nurmeberg Trial.
--Great Britian gave us 99 year leases on the following bases: Antigua, British Guiana, jamaica, st. lucia, Bermuda, newfoundland, and trinidad.
--They had all of the death camps for the Jews were in Poland. The reasoning for this was so the other people could not see what the Jews were actually going through and where they were actually going. The concentration camps were all over a few countries. The Jews were treated very badly. They were put through rough working conditions, a poor diet, and bad living conditions. At first, they started to just bury the bodies but then decided that someone could come and dig them up. So they resorted to burning or gassing the Jews.
--There is three stages of the Neutrality Act. The cash and carry system was a major change, it was not aimed to help Germany, but to held China and others. The last step of the Neutrality Act was the Lend-Lease Act. It stated that we would "lend and lease" supplies to countries at war. We weren't acting very neutral at this time. It was not loaning money, but more like loaning ships or airplanes. We gave billions of billions of supplies to alot of countries.
--The Atlantic Ocean was a battle group throughout the war. Sonar, which was underwater radar became huge in result of this. Airplanes that were called Hunters Killers we made to hunt and kill, or sink.
--The Scorched Earth Policy.. Stalin demanded that the Soviet Union troops burn everything, farms, houses, crops as the retreated back.
