IV. Hitler's Treatment of the Jews
He thought that the German Aryan race was the master race and everyone else was inferior. He really hated the Jews and he put them in concentration campsand killed them off. He was never really sure what he wanted to do with theJews so at first he separated them from the rest of Germanyand then made them into slaves before eventually killed them.
V. Munich Conference-Policy of Appeasement
Hitler demanded the Sudetenland part of Czechoslovakiaand they don’t want him to have this. They have a conference which decides togive Germanythe land as long as Hitler promised not to take any more land. They appeasedHitler to prevent war.
VI. US Role in the 1920's/1930's
-Washington Naval Conference-Made the Navies of the countries thatsigned it be decreased to try and stop wars.
-Kellog-Briand Pact was the pact that outlawed war which seemed that itwould settle disputes and never have a war again.
-Neutrality Acts throughout the 1930's- Said that the UnitedStates wouldn’t go to war with othercountries and we wouldn’t trade with them if they were at war.
-Quarantine Speech-Speech that the peaceful countries need to come togetherand quarantine off the aggressive nations.

VII. Soviet-German Non-Aggression Pact
Hitler didn’t want to fight a two sided war anymore with Russia and Stalin didn’t want to worry about Hitler invading. It was a Pact that neither would fight one another so neither country had to worry about it. Itwas also a deal to trade and split up Poland.Russia was togive Germanysome raw materials in exchange for guns.
Blitzkrieg
Germany’s fighting strategy that uses bombing to attack the front lines and major centers for trading and transportation. Tank units break through the main lines andadvance into enemy territory. Infantry uses trucks to flank the lines andsurround them. The rest of the forces come in and crush the enemy.
VIII. Outbreak of War--Blitzkrieg!!
-Japan and China- Japan had little resources so the military took over the government and they invaded Manchuriaand then Chinabecause they had the resources and new markets for them to sell to.
-Germany and Poland- Germanyinvaded Polandand overpowered their cavalry with their Blitzkrieg and with Russiaattacking on the other side
-Germany and France-Germanyused Blitzkrieg to go around the Maginot line through Belgiumand overwhelm Francein about a month.
-Germany and Great Britain- Germanybombed Great Britainthroughout the war and Britainnever surrendered and eventually wait out the war. Germanywasn’t going to invade until they had control of the air and they weakened the Navy.The Royal Airforce never lost air superiority so Germanynever invaded but they terrorized they people by bombing cities at night.
-Germanyand the Soviet Union-
