WWII Project
Today we first reviewed and then Brooke and Kelsey presented and their country is Great Britain. The Treaty of Versailles gave Great Britain their land back in Africa from Germany, and they also got billions of dollars back from the war. Great Britain wanted to not be so hard on Germany because they were major traders together. If Germany’s economy went down so did Great Britain’s. Winston Churchill was Great Britain’s leader. In 1921 they had a fascism type of government. They had a constitutional monarchy government, which means they have a king or queen, but they don’t have all the power. GB navy was no longer so great. Men 18-16 and women 20-30 had to either join the services, or work in mines or factories. Food was rationed. All families had an income because work was needed. Churchill's goals were the stop Germany from invading GB.
