constitutinal monarchy
3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power?

Winston Churchill--prime minister, army officer, writer, historian, artist, chosen by parlament
4. How did this leader change their country(for the better and worse) prior to WWII?
5. What were the goals of the leader?

maintain Great Britain as a great power and democracy
6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years(1919-1938)?
land forces, cross-channel invasions, needed to gain air superiority (didnt happen)

7. What role did they play in WWII?

antisubmarine tactics
8. Who were their allies in WWII?

France, US, Russia, ect...
9. How did WWII impact/effect the country?

some land, great number of people killed, lost some of its lusture of world power

Hitler demended the Sudentenland from Czechoslovakia

Policy of Appeasement--wanted to avoid war so agreed, Hitler lied so they heard what they wanted to hear
