Today we reviewed the states for the last time as a class before the test. Next we talked about what is going on in Hadi, with people adopting kids, moving kids to the Dominican Republic, and people have been acoused of illegally stealing kids and putting them up for adoption. After that we talked about, don't ask don't tell, wich is the official U.S. policy as far as how the U.S. military deals with homosexuals in the military. Bill Clinton started don't ask don't tell, where we wont ask and they wont tell, then if we find out they are they could be kicked out of the military. The Toyota's are being recalled, and we also talked about how that is bad for buisness. Then we tried to finish our group projects. Communism, practice and theory: getting rid of all private property, and everyone being treated equally. The theory of communism was by Karl Marx, his theory didn't work because nothing would really get done, and people would have to step up and take control, it'd be more like a dictatorship. He didn't like capitolism, it allowed some people to have more control over the money, he thought the poor people needed to over throw the rich and create a class of society where everybody is equal and there are no classes. He gained popularity over the common people. The only problem was that after the poor take over it would turn into an anarchy. The practice of communism is more like a dictatorship, the common people leaders who tell them what to do.
