What was the New Deal(1st and 2nd) and it's goals(3 R's)?RRR, gave money to various organizations to build things. It gave relief to the people of the United States.It helped people recover from the great depression and sent people to school and gave them jobs. Reform the bankings and stock market system.First new deal helped people at the top such as bank. The second new deal focused on helping people on the bottom. ( helping the indivisual)

Why did people criticize the New Deal?

Why was FDR upset with the US Supreme Court and what did he do to try to solve this issue?

How did the New Deal help:

unemployed-PWA, put money into the government so that things around America could be built and created jobs.The PWA was not successful and was abolished in 1941.
WPA created jobs and gave money to unemployed people. Most of the money and jobs they gave out to the people were to painters, sculpters and contruction workers.

factory workers/labor

banks/business-Emergency Banking Act- FDR closed down all banks that were having trouble.It allowed the president to take control of the banks.Once the banks reopened FDR said it was okay to bank again so people started putting their money back into banks.

Native Americans- restored the managment of the indian assests and they could not be self governed.
