RFC helped create jobs. CCC was created to make the countries people get back to work. Men working the CCC got $30 per month. FERA government gave money to the states to help provide food, work, and homes to people. FERA provided work for 20 million people. PWA created jobs but was too expensive and was not successful and did not help with getting us out of the Depression. PWA put money into construction projects and created jobs for people.Farmers-Factory workers/labor-NLRB allowed employees to join labor unions. NLRB prohibited unfair labor practices. The FSLA lowered working hours and affected mostly white men. The labor union banned child labor.Young people-Banks/business/Stock Market-RFC loaned money to banks and small business so they could give loans to create jobs. Passed by Hoover. SSA allowed the Federal Reserve to regulate interest rate. SSA attempted to stop deflation. SSA was made to strengthen banks and made sure peoples money was safe.
