In class today we continued our video. some people want only boys. The have the baby sex in some places and it is kinda weird. Out of 8000 abortions only 1 was a boy! that isnt right!!!!!!!! It isnt right that they will kill a baby girl but not a baby boy seriously girls are so much better then boys! It is really scary how everyone wants a boy not a girl. I think that is really wronge they should be happy that they can have a baby. Seriously some people cant have babies and in Nepal they kill 7999 girls in abortions! that is crazy! around 350 children die a day in nepal. When kids die the population goes up. That is crazy. In Nepal 1 out of 5 children die before they are 4. That is really sad.The average size of a family is 6 children. It is crazy because the women will just have a baby and will get pregnant again. That is crazy! most people who live there before harvest is really hard because its really hard to get food. Most people get stunted growth and dont look their age. It is crazy. They are telling people to use family planning. One girl listened and got sterilized after the birth of two boys. She is telling people about her dissicion and how it made the boys life better. They have only one childrens hospital in Nepal that is really scary!In one 19 month period of time in india 19 million i believe was the number were sterilized they were either forced or tricked. It was really crazy! Dr Mira said that the tools used to sterilize arent clean properly and it can cause to infections and death. That is scary. They really need to clean the tools right so it will be more likely for people to do it with out being scared. I would be terrified that something would happen and i would die.
