Today in class, Bruns talked to us about the soldiers that we would be sending over to Afghanstan. We continued to watch the People Bomb video. It was soooooo exciting! You wouldn't believe it.We reviewed what we saw yesterday, the defintion and some causes. The movie defintion is not just how many people there are but how much impact each person has. Some of the big causes of over population are poverty and not being educated about it. Well I took the Canada map test and totally aced it. Woo-woo! (;People in the video said that the girls have to work while the boys play. That isn't very fair. You have to marry the man the parents find for you, that would be kind of weird. I learned in India that 2 babies are born every 3 seconds. That is crazy and probably why it is so over populated. The girls are treated really unfair in India. The girls don't get to go to school, they have to stay and work, and are not treated the same as men. A lot of girls are killed because they are girls. How cruel is that!? This is another cause of over population. People just keep having kids until they have boys.
