Today in class was blog discussion day.
1.) Describe Native American cultures before and after the arrival of Europeans.
Before they came they really didn't try to focus on exceling in technology. They took only what they needed when hunting, no guns.Many where Nomatic, some fished other were farmers. Afterwards they were forced out of their habitats and forced to other Indian territory. They didnt get along so they had to change the way they did things. Many died from disesaes due to the fact that the Europeans kicked them off their land. At first they got along and traded but then the Native Americans soon figured out that they weren't getting a the better part of the deal.
2.) Describe why Euriopeans started exploing in late 1400's
They started exploring for a better life, spices from Asia,silks, food, and this could also bring the country more money and power. Better technology made all of this possible and most of the people in Europe thought the world wasn't flat.
3.) Describe why Europenas came over
Adventure, animal furrs, more religous freedom.
4.) List major countries and explorers and where they went in the new world.

England= Eventually all Canada, eastern sea border-13 colonies
France= Canada and mississsippi settled in
Spain= central and south America also florida~Magellin- famous>first person sail around the world- died in the philippeans- actually proved that the world wasn't round, Christopher Columbus- The Carribean- hispanola- Dominican republic- started transmatic slave trade- also created first genocide- raping of woman and children-stealing,Cortez.
