Today was our first day back after a summer that went by way too fast. In CWI, we talked about what would be expected from us in this class. Two blogs are due every week by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday night. One must be about the topic assigned by Mr. Bruns, and the other is free choice.Mr. Bruns showed us a picture of Barrack Obama with the joker's make up on it. The caption underneath read, Socialism. A topic up for debate right now is the president's plan for health care. Many people are against it, saying that the we will be paying much higher taxes. I personally think that it isn't that bad of an idea, as the president says people may choose to keep their current health care plan. I don't know if he will follow through on that, but if he does, I don't see why there should be a problem, as long as taxes are not highered for people who aren't even using his plan.
