Today we went over our European map. We're doing pretty well consitering it's our second day working on it. I love that part of the world and I think it will be the most fun to study for. We talked about "Hot, Flat and Crowded". Hot is for global warming, crowded is for overpopulation, and the flat world allows more competition worldwide. We watched the Do You Know powerpoint that gave us a bunch of random facts and information. Mr. Vis kept yelling over to Mr. Bruns, asking him what movie he was watching and then asking him if it was the Did You Know powerpoint. Mr. Bruns said he thinks you should start learning a forgien language in first grade and that we shouldn't learn cursive. I think you should wait and teach a forgien language in about 5th grade or so, because at that young age kids are still learning Enligh words and they might get confused. And as for cursive, I think they should spend less time on it but not take it away. For the rest of the class period I worked on my part of the project.
