For the first ten minutes of class, Mr. Bruns went over the European map with us. Then he continued talking about the Hot, Flat, and Crowded presentations. His main focus today was about the "flat" portion of it since we already knew that "hot" referred to global warming, and "crowded" refers to overpopulation. He showed us the "Did You Know" video which showed statistics about how much the world is changing. China has more honor students in their country than we have kids and over the course of the video, over 350 babies would be born in India. It really showed us that we are not only competing with the person next to us, we're competing with the whole world. The rest of class, we had time to work on our presentations.
