Why we won
--US: no war on US ground, support from home, support for other coutries
--Great Britain: kept fighting, island nation
--UUSR: winter stopped Germany
--Germany: starte fighting USSR, now two sided war, no supplies from USSR, Holocaust killed people that couldve helped (scientists, factory workers, ect..), not a strong defense
--Italy and Japan: Italy burdened Germany b/c no strong military, Japan brought US into war
--Major effects: creation of Isreal (Jews fled there, too many had to close to people moving in, had to sneak them in), nationalism and pacifism, allowed jobs for those who were unemployed in Great Depression, people became properous, shopping malls, consumer based economy grew, english developed radar, progress in computers and eletronics, developed atomic bomb, United Nations, General Agreement on Tariffs and trades, international cooperation, Germany divided into four sections, Japan under military rule for some time
Europes negative: had to rebuild, repair, ect..,
