Today we continued disscussing our blog topics. The topic that we disscussed today wasAl-Qaeda. I learned that Al-Qaeda is a world wide terrorist group. I also learned that their leader is Osama Bin Laden, he put the group together in 1988. Another thing that I learned about them is that they were the people behind the 9-11 attacks. They have also been behind many other attacks. The Al-Qaeda does not like the U.S because they believe that we are trying to spread our Western Customs over to the Middle East, which is not true. They also do not like us because they want the U.S out of their area and to stop medalling in the Middle East. That is what I learned about Al-Qaeda. We also learned about Al-Qaeda's current situation, they are currently very strong and all over the world. They are gaining strength once again in Afghanistan.Today I also learned that we are starting a new project. I have to do research on chapter 8 section 3. It is about segregation and things like that. I hope that I learn a lot about segregation from this project. We have to reasearch this and then put into a presentation that is somehow technology related.
