We got in to groups today. People matched up differently than i thought they would, but it still worked out ok. Me and Shannon (or Shannon and I, for the grammar freaks) are partners, no third person.
Then we were assigned our next projects. Me and Shannon have chapter 6-1 (a recap of chapters from 8th grade). Besides that, our quarter of the room (about 7 people) also have chapter 8-2 (this is the assigned blog). My sub-topic for that one is Racial Discrimination (the chapter is about education in the late 1800's). To research this stuff, we're using the internet, not the textbook.
For the other one, 6-1, I'm researching Edison, the power of electricity, and how inventions changed lifestyles. Shannon is doing the best uses for steel, oil, etc. (this is the project, not the assigned blog)
We aren't continuing our blog discussions today, which I'm kinda grateful for. I don't know how to summarize something I already summarized. But we'll have to talk about them tomorrow, so....
Anyways, i should get to researching and stuff....
