Today in Mr. Bruns’ classroom we learned about the rules of his classroom as well as about the website (mrbruns.ning.com). He explained some simple ways of being able to use the website, which included telling us that there are website tutorials available, if needed. Also he informed us that Ms. Bryan would be co-teaching in our U.S. History class this semester. Mr. Bruns also informed us that this year we would be doing many projects and using technology in his classroom. I am looking forward to the challenges of this class. Next, he told us about what we need to do each week for homework.Every week we need to do two blogs, one of which is free choice while the other will be an assigned topic. The assigned blog for the first week is “tell me about yourself”. The next thing that is required for each week is a short blog about what you did in class that day. That means we have to do five each week. Also we need to do five message board posts, but they have to be related to history or a current event. It sounds like a lot of work, but I know I can do it.
