Today is the final workday for the project. The first people are going to start presenting tomorrow. I continued to add to my presentation today. Today I started looking up famous people that were Blacklisted in Hollywood. Famous Blacklisted individuals included Charlie Chaplin, Will Geer, Arthur Miller, Burgess Meredith, and Walter Bernstein. Arthur Miller was the author of a famous and scrutinized story called The Crucible. Will Geer played the grandfather on The Waltons series. Burgess Meredith was an actor from the extremely famous Rocky series.

I also started to look up what happened to people after they were blacklisted. Writers would often use fake names so they could get their stories published. If they did not use fake names they would not have had their stuff used in movies. Actors and actresses could not change the way they looked so they could not work in the movie industry anymore. The committee declined in importance throughout the 1950's until the name was changed in 1969. The committee was completely abolished in 1975.
