Today was a testing day, so we could study or look up information for our next World War II movie. The Big Four from the Treaty of Versailles were Great Britain, France, Italy, and the United States. I started to look up things on China because it was one of the first groups that presented. China did not get any land from the Treaty of Versailles. However they were promised they would get land so this made them angry. During the interwar years they had a mixed government. The Nationalist leader was Shang Kai Shek and the Communist Leader was Mao Zedong. Mao Zedong was the first communist leader of China. The two leaders came together when Japan attacked which brought the two sides together. China had a defensive strategy and wanted to keep as many natural resources as possible so Japan could not get them. The had a strategy that said that they wanted to trade space for time. They were a member of the Allied Powers and many people died of starvation and disease.

Great Britain received German colonies in Africa. Neville Chamberlain was the Prime Minister and signed the Munich Conference. After teh Munich Confernce backfired he resigned and Winston Churchill came to power. Great Britain had a good Navy and used it to make sure that Allied Powers had access to the ocean. They also barricaded the Axis Powers so they could not get supplies. They got bombed constantly at night by the Germans and suffered a lot of damage.
