The Lend-Lease Act said we would lend said we would lend things to them during the war, but at the end of the war they would have to return what we had given to them. The German invasion of the Soviet Union was a big mistake. It was a mistake because they had a huge army. They had also already signed the Non-aggression Pact after they attacked the Soviet Union he was not able to get the raw materials that he needed. He thought that if he captured Stalingrad, Kiev, Moscow, and Leningrad that he would have control of the Soviet Union. In November and December when it started to snow, it started to make the German Army weaker. Stalin started the Scorched Earth Policy which meant that as the Soviet troops started to retreat they would burn everything.

In 1941 Japan invaded French IndoChina which made the United States stop trading with them. Admiral Yamamoto was the person that came up with the Pearl Harbor attack. We lined up all of the boats in line because the people at Pearl Harbor feared an inside invasion bceause there was a lot of Japanese people on the island. Japan thought that they knocked us out of the war, but they awoke the sleeping giant. At Pearl Harbor it was very shallow, and we thought that they wouldn't be able to use torpedos on us. On December 8, 1941
