- Black Thursday 12,984,650 Stocks traded, Investment companies bought stocks, moderate rally on Friday, Monday- market went into freefall

- Black Tuesday- stock prices collapsed, 16,410,030 traded shares

- Billions of dollars were lost- wiped out thousands of investors

- Stock tickers fell behind because how many shares were being sold and traded

- Effects, suicide rates went up, prices dropped, 1932 stocks only worth 20% of their value

- Was a symptom of great depression

 -What was the red scare and what impact did it have on the US?

The Red scare was a time after ww1, and it made the government scared from Communism. Reduced immigration, lots of strikers were labeled as communist, led to two radical immigrants from italy, government put them to death

- Automobiles, been around since 1880's, GM, Chrysler, Ford, mechanics, builidng roads, parking lots, garages, tons of jobs, live where you want suburbs, go on vacation, go to other places

- Airplanes, transporting mails, militiary reasons, entertainment, first to do what fly where fly longest etc

- Charles Lindbergh Lucky Lindy- he was a hero, biggest star in the 1920's, first person to fly over seas nonstop

- Amelia Earheart first women to fly, hawaii to calfornia, fly around the world, she dispparied paupua new guinea, proably crashed and died
