Saving Private Ryan
On D-Day in Normandy, three brothers are killed in action, and their mother is to get those three telegrams in one day. There is one more brother (Private James Ryan) that is elsewhere in the war but missing in action. The general in Washington D.C. orders a group of eight men to go out and find Private Ryan and send him home immediately in an effort to spare Ms. Ryan as much pain as he can.
