Today well, umm, I don’t know what we are doing today.
We are getting a new project. Ewwww!!!
Our blog assignment is to research more in depth the topic that we are getting for our project.
The project is part 2 of WWII. The topics are:
- The U.S. front
- The African front
- The Italian/Mediterranean front
- The D-day invasion
- The Pacific front
- The Spying Game
- The End-Yalta Conference, VE, VJ day,
- Why the Allies won, the effects of WWII
Me, Chelsea, Amanda, and Whitney have the African Front. We are to talk about where it took place, who the U.S. fought, what the strategies were, where the U.S. invaded, major battles that took place, and major generals, why the U.S. eventually won the African mainland.
Then we just went over the test and the order and stuff like that.
I. Treaty of Versailles
-know what it specifically did and how it helped lead to WWII
- League of Nations
-define and explain it's weaknesses
III. Know the basics about the following countries:
-How did WWI/Treaty of Versailles impact this country
-How did this country change in the 1920's/1930's(includes leader coming to power and their goals).
-What was/were this countries military strategies in the 1920's and 1930's.
-How was this country involved on WWII(what alliance did they belong to, how were they involved within the war)
-Germany
Italy
Soviet Union
-Japan
Great Britain
France
China
We just need to know general info about the countries. Not to specific. We are going to get about three of those countries and we have to know the basics.
