Today was a work day and Bruns was gone. We are supposed to present these things on like Thursday or Friday. Amanda and I have the country Australia. I have questions 5-9 to answer. I couldn’t really get much done because the internet was being a little dumb. So, this is all that I got done today.
5. What were the goals of the leader?
Australia had a lack of leadership because they had five prime ministers during WWII. The leaders were:
Prime Minister Robert Menzies from 26 April 1939 to 28 August 1941
Prime Minister Arthur Fadden from 29 August to 7 October 1941
Prime Minister John Curtin from 7 October 1941 - 5 July 1945
Prime Minister Francis Forde from 6 July 1945 to 13 July 1945
Prime Minister Ben Chifley from 13 July 1945 to 19 December 1949
Robert Menzies was ok with the war but he didn’t really know much about it because he had never been in the army. He said the he wanted to keep the army in Australia incase of a home attack.
