Today Ashley finally did her presentation.
How did the New Deal help:
home owners-The FHA insured loans for home owners and repairs. They promise the banks that if the home owner doesn’t pay their mortgage then the FHA will do it for them. They built homes and they helped people keep their houses.
Describe the culture of the 1930's.
-People would listen to the radio so they could hear the sports. Then they had night baseball so people could go and watch. Horse racing became very popular. The football became thinner and that led to more passing and stuff like that.
We are going to have a WWII Project. I don’t really like projects but I guess I have to get used to it. So, Amanda and I have Australia for our topic. We are to research it and make like a power point or a movie. We have certain questions that we have to answer about our topic. We have to split the questions up and make a power point or movie thing. These will be due sometime late next week or maybe early the week after. He told us about a new kind of software thing that we can use that doesn’t use the internet. He said that we need to have creative things and do something that people will remember this time.
