Today we went over our blog topics. I learned that there were 19 terrorists who were all part of the 9-1-1 attack. About 3,000 people died that day. Two planes hit the Twin Towers, one was crashed near a field in Pensylvania and another one crashed into the pentagon. The people on the planes tried taking over the plane after the terrorists but it didnt work. The people on the planes were calling their loved ones and the terrorists told them they were going to die. Ground Zero is all the rubble left after the attack on the Twin Towers.The Taliban are gaining more and more power and they are recruiting kids into the army. They are also are very religious. They are the government of Afganistan. In the 1980's they got spies help them fight off the Soviet Union who invaded them. We gave them weapons to fight. Taliban's leader in Mohammed Omar. They wanted to live life like they were in the 1860's because just in case we had the internet they could get information from them.
