-How did WWI/Treaty of Versailles impact this country
-How did this country change in the 1920's/1930's(includes leader coming to power and their goals).
-What was/were this countries military strategies in the 1920's and 1930's.
-How was this country involved on WWII(what alliance did they belong to, how were they involved within the war)

IV. Hitler's Treatment of the Jews
  • Nuremburg Laws. made jews second class citizens and removed their basic civil rights. if a person had three or four jewish grandparents was considered a jew. jews could only marry jews.
  • picked on jews, gypisies, homo, handicapped, twins, mixed race, dark skin, slavic, communists/socialists.
  • aryan race; blond hair blue-eyes, tall muscular. supirior race.
1938 nazi invaded and took jews to concentration camps.

V. Munich Conference-Policy of Appeasement
  • gb, germany, italy, france. hitler wanted to reunite germans. sudentin land was given to germany.

VI. US Role in the 1920's/1930's
-Washington Naval Conference
-Kellog-Briand Pact
  • outlawed war, 1927. things change during depression
-Neutrality Acts throughout the 1930's
-Quarantine Speech
  • given by fdr before ww2 saying keep the axis powers quarintined.
-Bases for Destroyers
-Lend-Lease Act
