Today we had a sub and so it was just a work day.

Taylor S. and I are in a group. We have Great Britain.

1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them?

After WWI Britain didn't lose anything. The actually gained some colonies.


3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power?

Winston Churchill--1940 to 1945 and 1951 to 1955 was a prime minister. An officer in british army, writer, historian, and artist. He got so powerful from the people of Britain Even after the war he was still pretty popular in the public eye. At 78, he won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Churchill served his country from 1895 to 1964.


5. What were the goals of the leader?

He discribed the wwii as a walk with destiny. he claims to have prepared his whole life for it.

Churchill’s greatest strength was the will to maintain Britain as a great power and a great democracy.

7. What role did they play in WWII?

He reorganized the navy and modernized it. he also came up with antisubmarine tactics.

9. How did WWII impact/effect the country?
