We finished blog discussions and then started out test. In 1935 the country's name changed from Persia to Iran and in 1941 the Soviet Union invaded Iran. In Winston Churchill and President Eisenhower came up with a plan to arrest the prime minister of Iran mainly because they didn't like them. The Iranian leaders that basically were our puppets were not leaders that were favored. The Islamic revolution caused the shah to flee Iran and Allotoyha became leader. In the hostage crisis they took about 66 hostages and later there were a bunch of African Americans and women released but they still had a bunch of hostages. The day Ronald Regan took office all the hostages were released from their imprisonment. I then studied for the test affter we finished the discussions.
