Today we had the United States present

1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them? the treaty didnt affect the US very much because they had little say in the treaty. It returned the US to normalcy
2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years(1919-1938)? Laissez Faire Democracy, until the great depression. We had the several Nuetrality Acts

3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power? President Roosevelt was elected after he was the govenor of New Yourk
4. How did this leader change their country(for the better and worse) prior to WWII?he passed many nuetrality acts and tried to stop convoys that may lead to war.
5. What were the goals of the leader? isolationism, preventing another world war. and get the US out of the great depression.
6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years(1919-1938)? isolationism, trying to keep out of wars.
7. What role did they play in WWII? the US dropped to atomic bombs over japan. we supplied ammunition and weapons.
8. Who were their allies in WWII? The main allies we France, Great Britain, Russia, Canada, China.
9. How did WWII impact/effect the country? It pulled us out of the great depression because all of the jobs from factories. We also became the major world power.
