didnt have much say in treaty, barely allowed into negotiations b/c didnt withstand damage, back to isolationism, didnt join league of nations, didnt want to be invovled in forgein affairs

2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years(1919-1938)?

isolationism, made a few quiet treaties with countries, economy boomed, great depression, not invovled in foreign affairs apart from trade and commmunications, Neutrality Acts: prohibited the trade of arms munitions and other instuments of war,

3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power?

FDR was president

4. How did this leader change their country(for the better and worse) prior to WWII?
started fireside chats, develped new deal

5. What were the goals of the leader?

pull US out of depression, develop a stable economy, end axis powers reign

isolationism, signed treaties,

dropped atomic bombs on Japan, supplied nations with weapons/suplies, made thousands of trucks/jeeps, designed better aircrafts,

allied powers


9. How did WWII impact/effect the country?

stimulated economy/brought depression to an end, factories were being built, didnt have much physical damage, became major world power
