Austrialia- Allie Power, Provied land ( a base for operations for US )
Canada- Allied Power, they provided air support and troops, and they played a very important role in the D-Day invasion
China- Allied Power ( they were invaded by Japan ) Chinese were treated badly by Japanese soldiers ( raped, babies cut out of the their stomachs ). China won the battle against Japan because they are huge
France- Allied, they were over taken by Germany. Even though Germany took over France there were two France government 1. Vichy Government (allied with the NAZI) 2. Free French Underground( fought against NAZI)

1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them?
- Hardest hit country by the treaty. They lost 15% of the their and were broken up into different cities. They were forced to reduce their army and they couldn’t have an air force
2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years(1919-1938)?
-When Hitler came to power they formed the NAZI government. They also had Weimar Republic(week and run by jews with many flaws)

- Hitler came to power cuz Von H. died and Hitler became chancellor.
4. How did this leader change their country(for the better and worse) prior to WWII?
-Hitler actually did good things for the country. He rebuilt the military. He got the economy going again.

- Goals were to eliminate all of the jews. He also wanted to develop aircraft and tank technologies. He pretty much wanted to reverse what the Treaty of Versailles.

-Improve weaponry. Develop Blitzkrieg warfare.
