China

1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them? Transfered German concessions to Japan, China was mad about it and didn't sign the treaty.


2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years(1919-1938)? Monarchy of the Republic of China, the first president was elected in 1918.


3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power? Mao Bigzedong, communist, and Chiang Kia-shek, nationalistic party and the leader throughout the 30's and WWII

.
4. How did this leader change their country(for the better and worse) prior to WWII?
5. What were the goals of the leader? To try to have a dominate political party in China. China tried to just defend their contry because in 1931 Japan invaded them to get resources.


6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years(1919-1938)?
7. What role did they play in WWII?
They declared war when Japan invaded them and the remained on the defense thoughout the whole war.


8. Who were their allies in WWII? GB, France, US, Soviet Union, Canada, and a lot more. Most countries only sent China money and it made them feel kind of bad.


9. How did WWII impact/effect the country? Even though the Allied powers won WWII China still went through communism in 1948. Throughout WWII Japan devastated China, murders, rapes, and just tore them down without remorse.

General: China was invaded, they never left their home country, Japan took a lot of land from China and were just terrible to them. Once the US came in and bombed Japan China finally did overcome and win. Also with how big China was and how many people were there it was just to much for Japan to overcome with how small they were.
